By visiting GermanySimple, creating an account, or using the site’s features, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use GermanySimple on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act on its behalf.

About GermanySimple

GermanySimple is an information platform about moving to and living in Germany. The site offers articles, guides, search, topic-based navigators, job and housing listings, subscriptions, and other informational tools. Some features are available only after creating an account.

GermanySimple also provides companies with an advertising dashboard and tools for creating and managing campaigns, placing advertising materials, and viewing statistics.

The advertising dashboard and paid advertising services are intended exclusively for legal entities, entrepreneurs and other persons ordering advertising for business or professional purposes. By creating a business account, submitting a campaign or paying for an order, the advertiser confirms its business status, authority to act for the named company and acceptance of these terms.

By selecting the required agreement checkbox and submitting advertiser registration, the advertiser confirms that it has read and accepted these Terms, acknowledged the Privacy Policy and is authorised to act for the stated company. GermanySimple records the document versions, language and time of acceptance as evidence of the electronic agreement.

Informational Nature of the Content

Editorial content is provided for general information only. It is not individualized legal, tax, medical, financial, investment, or other professional advice and does not guarantee any particular outcome.

Information, official rules, prices, and third-party offers may change. Before making an important decision, verify the current terms with the relevant authority, professional, or service provider. You are responsible for decisions and actions based on the site’s content.

Accounts

When registering, you agree to provide current information, keep your login credentials confidential, and not give unauthorized persons access to your account. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

A business account and company information may be required to manage advertising campaigns. GermanySimple may request verification of the information provided, restrict access to specific features, or suspend an account if these terms, security requirements, or applicable law are violated.

Advertising on GermanySimple

Advertising on the site is not limited to Google AdSense. GermanySimple may:

• independently place advertising received directly from advertisers through the advertising dashboard or under a separate arrangement;
• publish banners, native ads, sponsored cards, sponsored articles, and other commercial content;
• display GermanySimple’s own announcements and partner offers;
• use third-party advertising networks and technology partners, including Google AdSense.

The advertising partners, formats, and placements available on the site may change. Advertising and sponsored content are labeled accordingly and kept separate from editorial content.

Ad delivery may depend on the page language, topic and category, the placement selected by the advertiser, campaign period, and other delivery settings. When third-party advertising technologies are used, consent settings, cookies, and data covered by the relevant providers’ policies may also be taken into account. The presence of an advertisement on GermanySimple does not mean that GermanySimple endorses the advertiser, its products, services, or claims. Any relationship arising from an advertised offer is directly between the user and the advertiser or relevant provider.

Terms for Advertisers

By creating or ordering an advertising campaign, the advertiser confirms that:

• the company, campaign, and payment information provided is accurate;
• it holds the necessary rights to all text, images, logos, trademarks, links, and other materials;
• the advertisement and the advertised offer comply with applicable law and are not misleading;
• the materials contain no malicious code or prohibited content and do not infringe third-party rights;
• the destination page, advertised product or service, required permits and all advertising claims will remain lawful, accurate and available throughout the campaign.

The advertiser grants GermanySimple a non-exclusive right to store, technically adapt, reproduce, and display the submitted materials to the extent necessary to review, prepare, and run the campaign.

All campaigns may be subject to automated or manual review. GermanySimple may request changes or reject, pause, or terminate a campaign if its materials violate these terms, advertising requirements, third-party rights, or applicable law, or may harm users or the project’s reputation. Approval does not release the advertiser from responsibility for the advertisement or the advertised offer.

To the extent permitted by law, the advertiser shall reimburse GermanySimple for documented direct losses, expenses, mandatory charges and reasonable legal costs arising from the advertiser’s materials or offer, infringement of third-party rights, inaccurate information or another breach of these terms by the advertiser.

GermanySimple does not guarantee campaign approval, the continuous availability of a specific placement, or any particular number of visits, sales, or other commercial result unless such a guarantee is expressly included in the order details.

Paid Advertising Services

Each campaign is a separate one-time order without automatic renewal. Before payment, the advertiser can review the format, placement, audience or context, languages, period, frequency or rotation share, additional services, discount and total price. The confirmed order details prevail as to the scope, timing and price of that service; these Terms govern the remainder of the relationship.

Payment is made in advance. An order is paid only after confirmation by the payment provider. By paying, the advertiser instructs GermanySimple to reserve advertising inventory immediately and begin technical preparation, moderation-related activity and any ordered creative or editorial work. A delay or refusal by a payment provider is not a breach by GermanySimple.

Before payment, the advertiser may abandon the order without charge. After payment, cancellation is possible only by a written request to billing@germanysimple.com stating the campaign or order ID, billing email, reason and supporting information. Sending a request does not itself approve a cancellation or refund.

A voluntary refund requested by the advertiser is available only before the campaign starts. The campaign starts at the first recorded ad impression or, for a sponsored article, when the article is published. Before that moment, any refund is limited to the unprovided balance after deduction of services already provided, completed creative or editorial work, documented third-party expenses and payment fees not returned to GermanySimple. From that moment, cancellation for convenience, changed plans or budget, or dissatisfaction with results creates no refund right for reserved inventory, elapsed or active placement, or completed work. This cutoff does not affect remedies for a duplicate or erroneous charge, demonstrably unprovided service attributable to GermanySimple, or mandatory law.

If GermanySimple confirms a service failure attributable to GermanySimple, GermanySimple may, as the primary remedy, correct, extend, repeat or replace the affected placement with equivalent value. A monetary refund applies only where that remedy is not reasonably possible and is limited to the value of the demonstrably unprovided part. A full refund applies only when GermanySimple provided no part of the paid service. Once approved, GermanySimple initiates the refund no later than the next working day using the original payment method or another agreed method; actual crediting time is determined by the payment service.

GermanySimple may reject, reschedule, pause or terminate a campaign if the materials, destination page or advertised offer violate law, third-party rights, these Terms, technical requirements or reasonable brand-safety requirements. Any potentially refundable unused balance is determined only after deduction of services provided and documented costs or losses caused by the advertiser’s breach.

Payment secures the selected advertising placement and placement period for the advertiser. If the advertising materials, destination page or advertised offer violate applicable law, including European Union, German or Ukrainian requirements depending on the territory and circumstances of the placement, or GermanySimple’s internal rules, GermanySimple may withhold or stop publication of the advertisement. That decision does not by itself cancel the booking, change the selected dates or create a right to a refund for the secured advertising placement. The advertiser may correct or replace the materials and submit them for review again; publication begins or resumes only after the updated materials are approved. This rule does not limit any refund or other remedy required by mandatory law or applicable where GermanySimple is responsible for a confirmed breach.

Impression, click and other event statistics are generated by GermanySimple’s technical systems, may be adjusted to exclude invalid, automated or duplicate traffic and are the basis for measuring performance absent a manifest technical error. Traffic, impressions, clicks, conversions, sales and other commercial results are not guaranteed unless an exact guaranteed metric is expressly stated in the order.

The advertiser must report a visible technical defect without undue delay, preferably within five working days after discovery or campaign completion, so GermanySimple can examine logs and remedy the issue. This notice rule does not shorten a mandatory limitation period or remove rights concerning a latent defect that cannot be limited by contract.

An unfounded card-payment dispute after proper delivery is a material breach. This does not restrict the advertiser’s right to use any dispute procedure available under law or payment-system rules. Before requesting a chargeback, the advertiser is encouraged to contact billing@germanysimple.com so the parties can verify the payment and order performance.

Third-Party Websites and Services

GermanySimple may contain links to websites operated by advertisers, employers, landlords, public authorities, and other third parties. We do not control their content, availability, security, prices, or data-processing practices. Before providing information, entering into an agreement, or making a payment, review the terms and privacy policy of the relevant service.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, rights to the text, design, site structure, software components, and other materials belong to GermanySimple or the relevant rights holders. Personal, non-commercial use, reasonable quotation with attribution, and sharing links are permitted.

Republication, adaptation, bulk data collection, creation of derivative materials, or commercial use is permitted only with appropriate authorization or another lawful basis.

Prohibited Use

You may not interfere with the operation of the site, bypass access restrictions, attempt to access another person’s account, create an unreasonable load, distribute malicious code, manipulate advertising statistics, or use automated data collection in violation of the law or the rights of GermanySimple or third parties.

You may not use GermanySimple for unlawful activity, deception, discrimination, infringement of intellectual property rights, or distribution of materials that may harm others.

Availability and Changes to the Service

GermanySimple is provided “as is.” We work to maintain accurate content, security, and reliable operation, but do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, continuously available, or suitable for a particular purpose.

We may add, change, temporarily restrict, or discontinue individual features, advertising formats, and sections of the site. Where possible, material changes affecting paid advertising campaigns will be reflected in the advertising dashboard or communicated through an available channel.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, GermanySimple is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, expected sales, customers, data or reputation, or for actions of the advertiser, payment or technology providers, and other third parties outside GermanySimple’s reasonable control.

GermanySimple’s aggregate liability relating to a specific advertising order is limited to the amount actually paid by the advertiser for that order. This limit does not apply to an intentional breach by GermanySimple or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Governing Law and Disputes

Advertising orders are governed by the laws of Ukraine unless mandatory rules of another jurisdiction necessarily provide otherwise. The parties will attempt to resolve a dispute through written negotiations for 15 working days after receipt of a claim, after which either party may refer it to a court having jurisdiction under applicable procedural law.

If translations conflict, the Ukrainian version of these Terms prevails unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when the site, advertising tools, paid features, or legal requirements change. The current version and the date of the latest update are published on this page. By continuing to use GermanySimple after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
